William H. "Doc" Eason's character is very reminiscing
of an old west Solon keep. He wears a bow tie as he serves you drinks
and then mystifies you with a deck of cards. It is hard to decide if
he is a magician turned bartender, or a bartender playing a magician.
Regardless, both personas affect the other. As a magician he is
solicitous of his customer. Yet as a bartender he strives to
entertain. This duality makes him a pleasure to meet and watch. Plus,
he has a wonderful memory for names and faces that makes everyone
fell welcome, and his witty humor, and personal interest in each
person keeps people coming back for more.

Doc Eason lives in scenic Colorado and works at John Denver's Tower Comedy Magic Bar and Restaurant. Unlike many magicians that go to the customer's table to entertain, customers come to Doc Eason's bar. This is one of the few Restaurants where people do not mind waiting for a table before eating. Doc Eason will make the time fly so fast that the customer's tables will be ready before they know it. This is a testimony to Doc Eason's skill as both a bartender and magician.
One of Doc Eason's tricks is to make a card disappear and reappear under someone's drink. A simple rule that many magicians follow is to do a trick for a spectator only once. However, he does this effect repeatedly.

Yet, when he does this trick again and again, it becomes more amazing every single time. Especially because the spectators are watching his every move, just waiting for him to place the card under the glass. |

Which goes to show that if you can do something well by all means do it again and again. Still it is Doc Eason's handling of the effect that makes it so entertaining. The repeating of this effect could easily cause a spectator to feel threatened, but Doc Eason's personal concern for each person's needs alleviates this problem.
Simply put Doc Eason is no slouch when it comes to entertaining
his guest. So if you are in Snowmass Village, Colorado you may want
to stop by the John Denver's Tower Comedy Magic Bar and Restaurant
and see if Doc Eason is behind the bar. To find out more about Doc
