Bruce Cervon is a dark haired distinguished
gentleman. He looks more at home in an executive boardroom than at a
kid's birthday party. Still, his magic can captivate young and old
alike. He is everything a modern day magician should be charismatic,
charming, captivating, and spellbinding. Given half a chance he can
mystify and amaze you. He can fool you so well you will have no idea
how he did it.
Words cannot do justice to describe the
magician Bruce Cervon. To appreciate his skill you have to see him in
person. Many tricks that Bruce does are so diabolical that they
should be impossible. Yet, he does them with such skill and style
that he gives you no clue how he does it. This skill with cards is
why Bruce is one of the world's greatest card men. No one can fool
you with a deck of cards as completely as Bruce can.
If you are ever in Los Angeles and get the
chance to visit the Magic Castle,
you may be fortunate enough to see him. In which case he will amaze
you with his prestidigitation. However, if you want to learn some of
his routines, he does have several books out. His most recent book is
"Hard-boiled Mysteries." So if you are interested in
learning some great card effects you will want to get a hold of this
book. Check out L&L
Publishing Web Page for more information about getting it.
Still, Bruce is probably best well know for
his careful recording of everything he learned from Dai Vernon at the
Magic Castle. His notes grew to fill fourteen binders. These volumes
became known as the legendary "Castle Notebooks." Later
with Dai Vernon's permission the "Castle Notebooks" aided
in the creation of "The Vernon Chronicles." A wealth of
magical lore can be found in these books. Everyone should thank Bruce
for his contribution for keeping Dai Vernon's magical heritage alive.
Thank you, Bruce.
