One of his gems on the video is "Blind Luck." This effect has no sleights but when you finish your spectator's jaw will drop in astonishment. You produce two decks, and you give the spectator a choice between the red or blue deck. You then have the spectator turn over a randomly selected card, sight unseen, into the middle of their selected deck. Now you open the unselected deck of cards, spread them out, face down, showing one card face up. You then spread the spectator's deck, face down, showing their randomly selected card face up. Amazingly these two cards match. Yet, the real kicker is that the card in the red deck has a blue back, and the card in the blue deck has a red back. Another gem is the "Minty Fresh Coin in the Bottle." This effect is based upon the simple plot of a quarter penetrating a bottle. The innovation to this trick is the bottle, which is a tic-tac container. Amazingly this is done without a gimmick. Don't take my word for it, click on the link below and view this gem of an effect for yourself.
"320x240" - minty.ram (479 KB) The magical gems mentioned above have the least sparkle of all the gems on this video. The other magical gems are even more splendid. They are the "Must Do Traveling Aces," "Mid Air HPC," "Four Coins, Four Shticks," "Shout," "Count Down," "The Impostor," and the "Kennedy Conspiracy Bill." My favorite gem from Dan's video is the "Must Do Traveling Aces." The Ace of Spades is used to magically change the other three Aces from their own suits into Spades. The other Aces then turn into Queens. Um! I always though the Ace of Spades was a lady's man. So while the Ace of Spades is stepping out with the ladies. The other Aces are found at the place the spectator had cut too before the effect began.
