If Coin Magic was a religion then J. B. Bobo's book "Modern Coin Magic" would be its bible. Simple put it contains more coin sleights and tricks than any other book. It has over 400 sleights and tricks dealing with coins. It covers such things as:

Palming
Switches
Steals

Vanishes
Cuffing
Sleeving
Coin Boxes

Shells
Trick Coins
Routines

You can even find a few magic coin effects that use playing cards. Yes that's right, playing cards. However, it only deals with cards so far as it takes to do a specific coin trick.

Still if one thing is lacking in the book, it is that it does not explain how to present the tricks to an audience. It will teach you everything you need to know about the mechanics of a trick, but not how to make it entertaining to an audience. You need to add your own personality to the tricks to give them life

Over all, if you want to learn coin magic this is the place to start. It will give you a firm foundation in coin sleights, but don't stop there. Take it further, and learn how to present the many wonderful effects that are found in this book. Only in learning to present these effects will you become a master coin magician.
